Galentine’s Day: Because We Know Better Than to Trust Our Husbands with Romance

Ah, Valentine’s Day—the annual reminder that our husbands, despite their best (or let’s be real, mediocre) efforts, will somehow still think a last-minute grocery store bouquet screams “romance.” But that’s okay, ladies, because we’ve got something better: Galentine’s Day.
Galentine’s is our sacred day to celebrate friendship, fashion, and fizz (because, let’s be honest, there will be bubbles). It’s a chance to dress like the extra queens we are, wearing things that make our husbands scratch their heads—like a red faux-fur coat that screams “power move” but will have him asking if you’re auditioning for a role in a ‘90s music video.
This is our time to swap yoga pants for high-waisted leather pants, trade messy buns for bombshell waves, and slip into leopard heels that we know will be impractical but will look fabulous in the group pics. And the best part? No one at the table will be asking, “Are you really going to wear that?” Because yes, Brad, we ARE.
So let’s pop the prosecco, clink glasses, and toast to a night of laughter, fashion risks, and a drama-free evening where the only thing we’ll be disappointed in is how fast the cheese board disappears. Because if there’s one thing we can count on, it’s that our Galentines will never let us down.
